CurvSurf is specialized in real-time extraction of geometric features from point cloud and scene image. The type of geometric features of cuboid, plane, sphere, cylinder, cone, and torus is determined automatically. The geometric parameters of size, radius, angle, position, rotation are estimated through maximum-likelihood method. Application fields include reverse engineering, augmented reality, robotics, and logistics.
