Attitude, heading and motion

For mobile surveying it is important to compensate for the movement of the mobile platform. Sensors for attitude, heading and motion allow the determination of the movement of the platform relative to the horizontal (attitude, i.e. roll, pitch and heave) and relative to North (heading). To measure this the accelerations and rotations around the three degrees of freedom are determined. Read more
