Multi-Cluster Sources
Clustered Sources Are a Vital Part of Effective Seismic Exploration.
This symmetrical design balances the the destructive forces associated with airgun cluster frames. Shock mounted bars use the strongest elastomer bushings to dissipate shock.

Description
Multi-Cluster Sourcess
Our complete line of sources can be configured in a Tri-Source configuration. Clustered sources are a vital part of effective seismic exploration. The destructive effects of the air blast associated with a discharging air source are made worse by clustering. In order to maintain the separation between air sources within a cluster, it is necessary to mechanically constrain the sources with rigid bars.
Key Features:
-
Three standard airguns are clustered in a triangular configuration using Teledyne Bolt's proven cluster bar design.
Applications:
- site surveys
- geohazard surveys
- sub bottom profiling.
