LCI-100N (Northfinder)
Robust, compact and ultra-precise
FOG based compact northfinder
Description
The LCI-100N is a robust and compact Northfinder based on the LCI-100 for demanding requirements. With three FOG rotation rate sensors and a MEMS B-295 accelerometer triad, it calculates the North heading very precisely, independently of magnetic fields and need of GNSS-data.
The LCI-100N provides compensated rotation rates, acceleration figures, attitude angles in the form of quaternions and/or Euler angles as well the North heading.
Typical applications are:
the control of tunnel drilling machines
track alignment systems
navigation systems
systems for the structural monitoring of buildings
