The Unmanned Survey Platform (USP) Calypso is an inflatable, full autonomous surface vehicle that can carry a wide range of sensors for hydrographic and environmental surveys. The Calypso uses the Cloud Link subscription for the auto-navigation module, data visualization, and storage. The ASP is easy to transport and can be installed and operated by one person. Only one Peli case and a backpack and you're good to go!
Description
The Calypso is an cloud connected, autonomous survey platform (ASP). Its an inflatable, autonomous (and remote controlled) drone that can carry a wide range of sensors for hydrographic and environmental surveys.
The ASP is easy to transport and can be installed and operated by one person. Only one Peli case and a backpack and you're good to go!
Calypso is a platform for single beam echo sounder measurements, but various other types of sensors can be mounted on the platform as well, like a camera, light, gas sensor, temperature sensor, ADCP or water sampler.
Using a Cloud Link subscription and the internal 4G-connection, all data is logged into the cloud SaaS platform Atlantis. Atlantis can be used to prepare missions, view real-time missions and depth maps, save historical data,...
