Dolphin Side scan sonar designed for linear scanning of large areas of the bottom, at great depths (in towing mode or as part of a ROV)
It is available in two versions:
stationary version, with attachment to the vessel, ROV or boat
and
a towed version with towing behind the ship on a cable.
SSS is designed to work on two sides,
the maximum range per side is 150m,
the coverage area is up to 300m.,
in towing mode, the maximum working depth is 3000m (as part of a sinking system or ROV).
In single mode, the maximum depth is 50m.
The towed version of the SSS is equipped with an emergency release system in case of impact on an underwater obstacle.
The software allows you to: save the GPS coordinates of the track, determine the size, height and the coordinates of underwater objects, to automatically record scans, to make a complex image of the scanned area, to carry out target designation when scanning along the selected route.
The control is performed from a laptop / tablet: via WiFi, wired connection, TCP / IP as part of ROV.
Each SSS undergoes a full testing cycle, including operation at the maximum depth in the hydraulic tank.
The free warranty for SSS is 3 months from the date of receipt by the customer.
