Description

With our first product, the uOne AUV, we are bringing a completely autonomous and highly mobile data gathering solution into the price range of commercial divers and light ROVs. This while maintaining and improving on the functionality of more expensive ROVs and AUVs. 

Due to its untethered nature, it can cover vastly bigger areas than divers and ROVs. Because of robot automation, the data quality vastly increases, enabling a host of new processing tools. No heavy equipment needs to be deployed, nor do humans need to be in the water, vastly increasing the safety of operations. No large boat is required, reducing the environmental impact of the operation thanks to fuel reductions. The robot is electric, enabling zero-emission operations. It is small and continuously aware of its surroundings, resulting in low physical disturbance. Given that it can be deployed from shore or small boat by one person and that no operator is needed to control the mission, the cost is significantly reduced.
