SCSS “ Dolphin ”
- stationary circular and side-view sonar
SCSS “ Dolphin” is a stationary sonar of circular and side-scan view,
designed for searching under difficult conditions on the bottom,
with large and frequent changes in altitude, the presence of large
stones, flooded forests, large fields of algae, etc.
The SCSS is installed on the bottom on a special frame or is hung
from the vessel on a cable to a given height from the
bottom and performs automatic sonar scaning.
The coverage area of the SCSS “Dolphin” is a circle with a diameter
from 20 m to 200m with a resolution from 5 mm. (depends on the
distance)
Working depth up to 3000 m.
