Mariner X USV
The highly customizable payload platform built for offshore and coastal applications.
The Mariner X Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) is a versatile vessel with enhanced endurance and payload capacity for advanced offshore and coastal operations. Its cutting-edge technology and design offers a truly modular USV with its leading autonomous functionalities and highly customizable back deck for mounting and integrating a wide range of payloads.
Description
Durability and longevity
The Mariner X is a high-performance vessel tailored for both offshore and coastal operations. With a hull made of high density polyethylene, the Mariner X is capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions with its reliable and robust construction. requires minimal maintenance. High density polyethylene, known for its durability and longevity, requires minimal maintenance and offers a nearly unsinkable build. Capable of being launched from a port for standalone operations or deployed from a vessel-based davit, the Mariner X offers operational flexibility that meet the diverse requirements of its users.
Protected core hardware
The vessel’s core hardware is housed in a temperature controlled room and the navigation and communication systems are secured under a protective, temperature controlled radome. This ensures protection against harsh weather conditions, allowing the Mariner X to operate offshore for days at a time without harming critical equipment. This includes the vessel’s standard equipment such as a GNSS Compass, Class B AIS, Radar, Cameras, onboard control systems, and communication modems, as well as any additional features available. The situational awareness system combined with its backup propulsion adds layers of safety, making the Mariner X a dependable platform for advanced maritime operations.
Customizable payload integrations
The large back deck is capable of carrying more than a ton's worth of payload, depending on conditions and the payload integrations, greatly expanding the vessel’s operational capabilities. The back deck includes a railing system, facilitating the attachment of custom payloads such as water sampling systems, ROV and AUV Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS), deck generators, winches and cargo. This adaptability makes it suitable for various applications, from environmental monitoring to vessel support in offshore construction.
Precise data acquisition
Equipped with two moonpool elevators and two dedicated sensor positions, the Mariner X offers great flexibility in sensor deployment and enhances data quality, a critical aspect for surveying and scientific research. Its flat hull design combined with the moonpool elevators, bow thrusters for precise slow speed navigation, and the option to add a Seakeeper to further stabilize the vessel, provides the stability and clearance for precise survey work.
