Low-SWaP FOG IMU
The U123 is one of our revolutionary FOG-based inertial measurement units (FOG IMUs) which feature ultra-small and lightweight design coupled with extremely low power consumption. It combines our smallest fiber optic gyroscopes and MEMS accelerometers and includes a fully integrated ADC board with RS422 interface.
Description
The cylindrical unit measures just ∅40×100mm and weighs 170 grams. The U123D offers low noise performance with 0.05°/√h ARW and 1°/h bias stability. The accelerometers deliver 10g range, 0.2mg bias stability and 250 Hz bandwidth.
Due to internal magnetic shielding this inertial measurement unit exhibits high magnetic immunity with magnetic response of 0.3 °/h/Gauss.
It is worth mentioning that the U123D is a cost-effective non-ITAR solution.
Our FOG-based IMUs have been developed to satisfy growing market demand for low SWaP (size, weight, and power) inertial products for autonomous and unmanned systems with space- and layout-limitations. The units are well-suited for inertial navigation systems (INSs) in UAVs / UUVs / USVs / ROVs.
