Boreas A70
High-performance Digital FOG IMU/AHRS
Using world-first Digital FOG (DFOG) technology, the Boreas A70 is a high-performance IMU/AHRS with automatic gyrocompassing and a significantly lower SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power and Cost).
Description
The Boreas A series combines cutting-edge Fibre Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology with closed-loop accelerometers, which are coupled in a sophisticated fusion algorithm to deliver accurate and reliable orientation. The system features ultra-fast gyrocompassing, acquiring and maintaining an accurate heading under all conditions with no reliance on GNSS.
The Boreas A series can be upgraded to full INS capability through a software license upgrade. As an INS it can be interfaced to any of the leading brands of GNSS receivers to create an OEM GNSS/INS solution.
