ScanFish ROTV range
Multi-purpose, highly stable ROTVs for UXO, site survey, oceanographic surveys and more
ScanFish ROTVs are designed for towing sensors with precise positioning – either vertically or optionally in 3D. Tailored solutions include magnetometer or sidescan solutions, as well as larger versions for a payload of up to 400 kg.
Description
EIVA's ScanFish remotely operated towed vehicles (ROTV) have the ability to automatically follow the seabed at a defined height. This makes ScanFish ideal for tasks where you want your sensors very close to the seabed. With the 3D steering option, your ScanFish can navigate both vertically and horizontally through the water column, for greater flexibility in executing runlines.
EIVA’s ROTVs come in configurable setups to suit your UXO survey operation, ranging from ScanFish Katria, which tows magnetometers on a frame, to ScanFish – Equinox, which is fully integrated with a multi-aperture sidescan sonar providing the highest quality data swaths possible with sidescan sonar. It is also available in different sizes for larger payloads, such as the ScanFish XL which can be fitted with very large sensors such as the PanGeo SBI.
As an optional extra, navigation software NaviPac Pro can provide additional autopilot guidance, enabling the ROTV to follow a predefined runline as instructed by the software. It can also achieve smoother vertical runlines around steep obstacles based on a DTM (real-time and/or pre-survey).
