Trimble R12i: Speed Test with TIP Technology

In this video, we demonstrate how much faster the R12i is with tilt compensation turned on. The R12i's new tilt compensation is powered by the Trimble Inertial Platform (TIP) technology which uses an IMU to measure the angle of the rod. This allows you to measure points or stakeout without needing to level the survey pole.
