The oceanographic mooring swivels are available with or without conductive feed through. The safe operation load of our standard swivels ranges from 15kN to 90kN. Custom solutions are possible with load ratings up to 2500kN.
Description
The conductive swivels are used for relaying data and power over rotating interfaces such as mooring line attachment points on buoys. Swivels are available with up to 16 electrical channels, with optional optical fiber feed through.
The full titanium design, high quality bearings and seals allow for long term maintenance free operation. Due to the oil filling the units are pressure balanced and can be operated at virtually any depth
