Description
The Release Transponder 6 Heavy Duty (RT 6-HD) is a tough, reliable, heavy duty acoustic release with a Working Load Limit of 2,500 kg and is fully compatible with Sonardyne’s 6G® transceivers and USBL systems.
It’s LMF transducer and 7,000 metre depth rating makes it perfect for lifting, lowering and tracking heavy structures in deep water. It has full 6G capabilities, meaning that it can be tracked and released using all Sonardyne LMF Ranger 2 6G USBL systems or a deck unit with remote dunking transducer.
Excellent corrosion resistance is achieved by using super duplex stainless steel.
RT 6-HD is configured with our iWand hand-held acoustic transponder test and configuration device.
