OVERVIEW
The VN-210 is a tactical-grade, high-performance GNSS-Aided Inertial Navigation System (GNSS/INS) incorporating the latest inertial sensor and GNSS technology. The VN-210 combines a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyro, a 3-axis magnetometer, a Multi-band GNSS receiver into a compact embedded module or ruggedized packaging option to deliver a high-accuracy position, velocity and attitude solution.
The VN-210 incorporates the latest advancements in aerospace-grade Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) inertial navigation algorithms specifically tailored to solve problems typically faced by users of this high-end technology solution. The VN-210 utilizes the onboard EKF to optimally combine high bandwidth inertial sensor measurements with high-accuracy, low bandwidth GNSS measurements to provide high-accuracy, low latency position, velocity, and attitude measurements.
The VN-210 is available in two packaging options: a precision-milled, anodized aluminium enclosure designed to meet DO-160G standards. With dual I/O connectors, the VN-210 offers maximum flexibility for interfacing with external GNSS receivers and IMUs. Alternatively, the VN-210 is available in a miniature, board-mount option delivering tactical-grade IMU performance i compact package bringing the unprecedented capability to SWaP-C constrained applications.
