The Automate Your Boat (AYB) unit enables customers to build their own autonomous and remote controlled vessel.

The AYB unit allows to automate electrical propulsion, ranging from thrusters, outboards to pod or hybrid drives. The motor and battery pack can be selected from market providers.

Via a 3G/4G connection the AYB unit connects to the Atlantis cloud platform without the need for line-of-sight. On the tablet device, the vessel can be assigned missions (by drawing waypoints, grids, circles,...), real-time data and a depth map is shown on a map. The cloud SaaS Platform Atlantis can be used to prepare missions, load maps, view live missions, save historical data.

In case of emergency, the remote control can override the autonomous system to take manual control of the vessel (range of 5km).

How does it work?

Choose your electrical motors & batteries

Select your electrical motors and batteries based on the type of application. For example the AYB supports all Torqeedo motors, Blue Robotics thrusters and any other ESC-controlled thrusters. Don't hesitate to contact us to assist you with choosing the right motors for your specific application.

Choose your hull

Select your hull accordingly. For example: a NRS cataraft or another catamaran type hull. Catamarans are better for survey purposes as they tend to be more stable. Don't hesitate to contact us to assist you with choosing the right hull for your specific application.

Connect the AYB unit

Install our AYB unit (including R/C control & tablet) on the vessel. Add a SIM card to enable Cloud Link subscription. and connect the cables to the motor(s).

Prepare your mission via Atlantis

Use our cloud platform Atlantis to prepare your missions and to real-time view ongoing missions or historical data.
