Description
DiveNET: GPS Explorer (GPS X) is a portable, self-contained and rapidly deployable wireless underwater GPS navigation system based on a 4-buoy floating Long Base Line (LBL) array.
DiveNET: GPS X provides absolute, 3D coordinate surface tracking of a single underwater target/diver equipped with a GPS X pinger.
DiveNET: GPS X is designed to provide a rapidly deployable, precise positioning solution requiring no calibration or integration.
The GPS X pinger is available with a battery pack for easy mounting on virtually any carrier system or a diver.
GPS X buoys feature wireless (radio) connectivity with the operator station.
GPS X supports interfacing with surface GPS for operator position tracking.
Maximum depth: 300 m.
