U_Tracker is a compact, low-price, small, and easy-to-use AUV that can execute the same tasks as large and more complex AUVs, even performing better in some circumstances.

Description

Being modular, U_Tracker can be supplied in different configurations according to specific customer requirements. Sensors can easily be installed or uninstalled to use the vehicle for normal underwater activities, seafloor surveys, bathymetric mapping etc.

U_Tracker can perform many military task: MCM, ASW, Surveillance, etc.

Key features:

 

·       Endurance: 8h.

·       Operating depth: 300 mt.

·       Maximum speed: 5 knots Cruise speed: 3 knots.

·       5 DoF (Degree of Freedom) control capability with hovering and point rotation.

·       Propulsion: 1 main stern propellers; 2 horizontal thrusters; 2 vertical thrusters.

Payloads:

·       Scientific Probes, Side Scan Sonar, HD camera.

Dimensions:

·        1800 mm <Lenght < 2300mm.

·       Diam.  200 Mm.

·       Weight < 25 Kgs.

Communications:

·       Ethernet/Wi-Fi or similar socket

·       An underwater acoustic modem integrated with the USBL device.

·       Radio link for data download and system recovery. Range: > 2 km with full frequency range and transmit power, > 500 m or others as per customer requirements.

Software suite - JDeMoN Graphic User Interface (GUI):

 

EDgelab’s JDeMoN Graphic User Interface (GUI) will include graphical interfaces to allow:

·       Mission planning, (optional) monitoring, and post-mission analysis with chart underlay.

·       Control setting of RF and (optional) Acoustic Data Link with the vehicle.

·       Mission Management System (MMS) allows:

·       Mission Modification decided by operator.

·       Mission adaptation to environmental changes detected by AUV or external sensors.

·       Mission re-planning.
