Modular
The Geomatica platform features over 550 algorithms and core raster and vector operations that can be executed as single modules, and assembled together into unique, application specific workflows through the open source Python API. There is no additional cost to access the development environment, which makes it ideal for integration with commercial Python enable tools (such as ArcGIS), or open source tools (QGIS), and also the many open source libraries available (NumPy, SciPy). The software's Python API can also be used to conduct detailed statistical analyses using R.
