Sonar Bathyswath-2-OEM 117kHz
Small, low-power, low-cost swath bathymetry for client installation in small and autonomous vehicles
Bathyswath 2 is the standard version of our bathymetric systems, in use since 2015. It gives excellent performance and reliability in a small, low-power package. It can be used at any frequency from 100 to 500 kHz. Bathyswath-2-OEM provides system integrators with a package of parts for integration into small vessels and vehicles.
Description
The main advantages of Bathyswath-2-OEM over other swath bathymetry sonar systems for small autonomous vehicles are :
- Very small electronics package
- Small and light sonar transducers
- Wide swaths when close to the bottom (shallow water or low flying height)
- Simple Ethernet interfacing
- Data acquisition software for Linux or Windows, full survey control and data processing software for Windows
- Low cost
Bathyswath-2-OEM is a Bathyswath-2 system, for integration by clients in their own systems, which includes the following items :
- 1 to 3 transducers (117, 234 or 468 kHz)
- 1 x Transducer Electronic Module (TEM) - Bare board set
- 1 x Data acquisition & 3D processing software (Unlimited licences, no PC is supplied)
- 1 x Data acquisition software for Linux or Windows (other operating systems available on request)
- 12 month return-to-base warranty and packaging.
Optional components include :
- An interface board, simplifying connection to the electronics
- Cable sets, with standard computer and power connectors
- Transducer extension cables
- Transducer mounting hardware
Bathyswath-2 OEM is part of the company ITER Systems : the world's most experienced team of developers of interferometric sonars. Its products are direct descendants of the world’s first commercially available interferometric swath sonar system, developed into SWATHplus, which renamed Bathyswath in 2013. Bathyswath 2 is a completely new design, with improved performance and usability.
