Xsens MTi-1
The MTi-1 is a self-contained Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) as a 12.1 x 12.1 mm module
The Xsens optimized strapdown algorithm (AttitudeEngineTM) performs high-speed dead-reckoning calculations at 1 kHz allowing accurate capture of high-frequency motions. The MTi-1 IMU is a cost-effective module for a wide range of (embedded) applications. It relieves users from the design, integration and maintenance of gyroscopes, accelerometers and other sensors.
Description
About the MTi-1
The MTi-1 is a self-contained Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It provides calibrated data on the rate of turn, the acceleration and the magnetic field – all in 3D. Tested and temperature bias-calibrated, it is a robust, reliable sensor module. Designed for easy integration in high-volume applications, the MTi-1 is also the most cost-effective product for Surface Mountable Device (SMD) integration. Its signal processing pipeline and suite of output options give you access to the highest possible accuracy at any output data rate while limiting the load on your application processor. The MTi-1 is part of the MTi 1-series. This is Xsens’ smallest series of products, thanks to our use of the latest miniature MEMS technology. The MTi 1-series offers you the smallest industrial-grade form factor on the market, with each module measuring only 12.1mm x 12.1mm and weighing <1gr.
- Smallest industrial-grade form factor on the market, at just over 12mm x 12mm
- Robust
- Compatible with new Xsens software updates
- Easy to integrate
- Low-cost
- Ideal for high-volume applications
MTi-1 Software
Our MT Software Suite gives you easy access to the MTi-1. The suite contains a specially developed, easy-to-use graphical user interface, as well as drivers for various operating systems. It also offers many other useful tools, for example, source code and documentation. The MT Software Suite includes different software programs, such as:
- MT Manager (GUI)
- MT SDK, including programming examples for C, C++, C#, MATLAB, Python, ROS and Nucleo boards
- Magnetic Field Mapper (MFM) calibration tool, as GUI and SDK
The suite comes with complete documentation and you can always access our technical support staff.
