ACC MARINE S

ACC MARINE S

Ultra low noise High-performance, affordable and robust 3-axis accelerometers.

NORSUB Accelerometers (ACC) are high performance, ultra-low noise, and affordable. NORSUB ACCs Marine S use state-of-the-art MEMS technology accelerometers. The exceptional low noise density, velocity random walk (VRW) and bias instability make this accelerometer ideal for high demanding vibration monitoring applications where only the best is good enough.

Description

Tailor-made for Marine and Submerged Use

The NORSUB ACC Marine S is ideal for use in marine and submerged applications (to 50 m depths) such as vibration monitoring of ships, rigs or other floating structures. The robust, small footprint and waterproof casing make it easy to install anywhere, also submerged or in the splash zone. The NORSUB ACCs Marine S output accelerations in the x, y, and z axes.

Easy Interfacing

The ACC Marine S comes with a SubConn connector with ethernet and serial ports for easy interfacing with your system. Industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU) can be used for PLC interfacing. The MRU comes with a wide range of standard and customized, ASCII or binary data protocols. Custom length and pigtail cables are available.

Accelerometer for Your Needs

The high-end ACC Marine S accelerometer is an ideal choice for marine vibration monitoring that requires the best available accelerometers. Please check out our MRU range for accurate 6 DOF motion sensors if you need roll, pitch and heave measurements as well. The ACC has an internal health monitoring system that ensures high-performance operability.

User-Friendly Configuration Software

The free Windows-based NORSUB MRU Configuration Software is used to set up the ACC. Here you can configure the communication ports, customize the output data protocol, configure the MRU installation parameters, or check the internal status of the ACC Marine S. The software can also update the MRU firmware, log the MRU data to file, and plot the desired data.

Every Unit is Calibrated, Tested and Validated

Every ACC is delivered with a Configuration, Calibration, and Validation Certificate. Every unit is calibrated and validated independently through a systematic sequence of rigorous tests in our labs simulating both regular and irregular sea motions. The calibration certificate is valid for four years and full product specifications are maintained during this period under normal operating conditions.
