A new product, lighter version of ultra compact scanning sonar, MRS900L was launched through Ocean Business 2017 in Southampton. Weight of MRS900L is only 410g (in air)/190g (in water), much lighter than its predecessor by 30% (in air)/ 50% (in water) respectively. It can still work at a depth up to 1,000m (its predecessor MRS900 can do up to 2,000m depth).

Weight of MRS900L is only 410g (in air)/190g (in water), much lighter than its predecessor by 30% (in air)/ 50% (in water) respectively. It can still work at a depth up to 1,000m (its predecessor MRS900 can do up to 2,000m depth).
This ultra compact/light device is optimally designed for Navigation of Underwater Vehicles (ROVs or AUVs), Search and Recovery (SAR), Underwater Inspections and Diver-held Devices with its outstanding sonar images and high scanning speeds.
