Using Drones for utility asset inspection – Taurun Dystrybucja S.A

For Tauron Dystrybucja S.A., WN Region using Unmanned Aerial Systems, we performed a series of inspections of the technical condition of selected high-voltage network objects. We used two different UAS equipped with high-resolution digital cameras. The work was carried out in difficult environmental and terrain conditions where it was not possible to perform the inspection in any other way.

The quality of the photos and videos obtained allowed the identification of damage to the power lines and the preparation of reports and recommendations for the inspected sections. While anlysing the material, we identified a number of faults which had a major impact on the correct functioning of the network.

We prepared a detailed report and recommendations for urgent service work.
